First Visit & Dental Care
During your child's first visit, you will be introduced to our dental team. One of the dental assistants will help your child feel comfortable sitting in the dentist chair, clean your child's teeth, and talk about ways to keep teeth healthy!
You will then be introduced to Dr. Barlow. He will perform a head and neck examination and then evaluate the health of the teeth, gums and your child's bite and your child's risk for dental caries (or tooth decay) will be determined. Dental radiographs (x-rays) will be taken as necessary. Additional services will be scheduled for a later visit.
Appointments
Most dental care appointments will last between 30 and 40 minutes. Checking in at least 5 minutes early for your child's dental appointment will help your appointment move along smoothly. If you are unable to keep your appointment, no charge will be made for rescheduling, provided 24 hours notice is given so that your child's time can be given to another patient.
Fees and Payments
Fees are based on the actual work provided. Payment should be made treatment is received. We accept cash, check, all major credit cards as well as easy in-house payment plans. We accept all dental insurance plans, and submit claims to insurance companies as a courtesy. The subscriber is responsible for any amount not paid by the insurance company.

When you arrive at Little Smiles, you will be asked to verify your information and sign the forms electronically.
