Tooth knocked out of position: try to gently push the tooth into its normal position, then call us!

Tooth knocked out of the mouth: if possible, find the tooth and gently place it back in its normal position in the mouth and hold it in place. Call us immediately! If you can’t put it back in the mouth, put the tooth in a bag of milk and call us immediately!

Broken tooth: use over-the-counter pain medication such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen to help with discomfort. Give your child soft foods and avoid hot or cold drinks or foods. Call us!

Pain and/or Swelling: call us if your child is experiencing pain or facial swelling that does not improve with over-the-counter pain medication such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen. We will ask questions over the phone to determine the best course of action to help your child’s dental needs.
